Interested in fashion design? Elevate your design skills and jumpstart your personal brand through the New York Fashion Week program at Green Apple Art Center. Every year, our students receive special permission to participate in New York Fashion Week – not just as attendees, but as designers. From research and design to development and execution, the New York Fashion Week program gives students the opportunity to live their wildest fashion dreams, premiering their pieces on one of the world’s biggest fashion stages while forming connections with the international fashion community.
You’re in good hands at Green Apple Art Center. Our instructors have years of experience taking groups of students to New York Fashion Week, guiding them through every step of the design process, from the classroom to the runway.

Cut, sew, drape, and finesse your designs into their final forms.
4 • Art direct a shoot
Show your pieces in their best light with a professional photography session. Students art direct a fashion shoot of their pieces, determining the location, mood, ambience, lighting, and feel of the shoot to best accompany their designs.
5 • Travel TO NEW YORK city
Head to New York City with your pieces in tow.
6 • Style your model
Once you’ve settled in, it’s time to go backstage. Students work with professional models, make-up artists, and hair stylists at New York Fashion Week to realize their vision for their pieces through styling.

The moment you’ve been working for is here. There’s nothing like the feeling of your pieces hitting the runway for the first time at New York Fashion Week.

After the high of the big stage, network with industry professionals from all over the world. Make connections that can help launch your brand and introduce your name to the international fashion community.
