Content varies depending on the instructor’s current interests and expertise, and often features design challenges he has encountered in his practice in order to give students the opportunity to tackle real-world problems.
’Sustainable Fashion Design’ aims to raise awareness of the fashion industry’s impact on the environment and to reduce garment and fabric wastage that currently contributes to pollution.
Throughout the duration of the course, students will be guided to apply sustainability practices and design thinking through design method application such as patchwork, lengthening and hemming with used garments and materials.
【可持续环保服装设计】课程旨在提升时装设计行业对于环境保护已经物料滥用的警惕意识，希望在未来可以有效降低制造服装所造成的环境污染与资源浪费。通过这门课程，学生们会在导师的指导下使用可持续发展的方式重复，再次利用已经被使用过的布料，或者制衣过程中遗留下来的边角料进行创新设计与服装再制作。
