Weekly Studio Program

Fall Term Starts on the Week of September 9, 2025

Fall Term: 14 Classes in total | Each Class is 3 hours

Engage in hands-on activities like drawing, model-making, research, ideation, and foster design thinking skills. These courses are recommended for those that are intrigued by the world of architecture or want to pursue architecture.

Please note that this class required students to bring their own supplies. Materials can also be purchased from our website.

  • Monday, September 1: Labour Day (STUDIO CLOSED)

  • Tuesday, September 30: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (STUDIO CLOSED)

  • Saturday to Sunday, October 11-12: Thanksgiving Long-Weekend (OPEN, but no kids and major-related programs)

  • Monday, October 13: Thanksgiving (STUDIO CLOSED)

  • Friday, October 31: Halloween (OPEN, but no kids programs)

  • Tuesday, November 11: Remembrance Day (STUDIO CLOSED)

In the past, he worked at many renowned architecture firms around the world and participated in major projects, including Hongkou SOHO with Kengo Kuma, Prince Plaza with OMA and French International School with Henning Larsen.

Alan is a registered architect in British Columbia. Alan’s experience includes working in Coop Himmelblau in Vienna, UNStudio in Shanghai, and Arno Matis Architecture in Vancouver. The recipient of numerous awards, including the Red Dot Award in Germany, the A’ Design Award in Italy, Muse Design Award in New York, he currently is a head of WAY Studio in Vancouver.
