Last week from April 25-28, Green Apple Art Center was at
Art Vancouver, a 4-day international art fair featuring an array
of galleries and artists showcasing their work on a thriving and prestigious platform to a global audience.
Here are some highlights from the event:

VOYAGE OF A DREAM

We featured our students’ large-scale group piece,
Voyage of a Dream, and were blown away by the visitors’
fantastic compliments and responses. Well done!

During the opening night, 2 of our students, George and Mona, walked the runway and gave a preview of Voyage of a Dream.

PANEL TALK - MENTION TECH CHALLENGE

On Saturday, we had an engaging discussion panel onstage with our instructors David Youngson and Odera Igbokwe and our students George and Mika.

Both David and Odera brought their wisdom and advice to

David and George provided insight from the Tech Challenge from an instructor and student perspective and shared their thoughts from the competition itself.

DEMO WITH FIONA

Our instructor, Fiona Tang, held an artist demo “Dancing with Lines” on Sunday where she demonstrated the art of using gestural lines to capture the essence of wild animals.
我们的导师Fiona Tang在周日时，还在现场主持了一场艺术家的绘画演示，名为《与线起舞》。在这幅作品中，她着重使用飞舞的线条来捕捉、描绘野生动物形态中所表现出来的本质。
