Through fun and unique projects, students will learn about the various styles and creative processes of world-renowned architects. Drawing and building exercises will allow students to explore their own imagination while being inspired by incredible architecture from the past and present.

Materials:

Students are encouraged to use any materials they have available to build their models. This materials list provides suggestions for some useful building supplies.

  • coloured papers

  • heavy white paper 

  • cardboard (can be recycled)

  • scissors 

  • masking tape

  • Fabrics and yarn

  • string

  • wire or pipe cleaners 

  • plasticine

  • skewers (from the grocery store)

  • tin foil

  • paints, pens, felts

  • white glue (paper glue)

  • glue stick

  • pebbles, sticks, leaves (from outside)

About the Instructor

Ms. Tatiana Anisimova, MSc, biologist. She graduated from the leading University in Russia, Kazan Federal University. She studied at the Biological Facility and got specialty biologist. During her graduation she had been working on a number of botanical illustrations and developing drawing skills and painting skills in botanical anatomy. She has made a number of projects involving her drawing skills such as designing a restaurant in 2017, participating in Art Vancouver Exhibition at Vancouver Convention Center -Canada Place, Vancouver, British Columbia in May, 2016.
