English for Art and Design

• Students will prepare for university entrance interviews and application writing    assignments.

• Students will learn how to articulate their ideas clearly and gain confidence    speaking and writing about their work and the work of others.

• Students will learn about influential artists/designers and movements while deepening their understanding about the principles of art and design.

• Students will prepare a sketchbook, resume, cover letter, a 300 word personal statement and a 500-word university entrance essay.

Myriah Tonge has over ten years of teaching experience, and an extensive educational background in Fine Arts and Design. Myriah’s goal as an artist and educator is to promote creative thinking by giving students the tools to confidently express their unique personalities and imaginations. Myriah has helped many students prepare successful portfolios and essays for scholarships and admittance to high profile art colleges around the world.
